IONIA. Ephesos. Circa 405-390 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 21 mm, 15.27 g, 12 h), Kleitos, magistrate. E-Φ Bee with bent wings. Rev. ΚΛΕΙΤΟ[Σ] Forepart of a stag to right, head turned back to left; behind to left, palm tree with two date clusters. Hecatomnus 47.a (this coin, illustrated on pl. 9, O11/R42). Lightly toned and very rare. Light marks and with minor deposits and a small flan fault on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
